Chad Beyer

As owner and principal Interior Designer of i5, Chad has strived to merge the design and built environments in an effort to move interior design to the forefront of the construction process. His creative eye and attention to detail keeps the team running smoothly while bringing creative and innovative solutions to our clients. In his free time Chad enjoys the outdoors, spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids, and volunteering in leadership at Riverwoods Church.

Doug Shaulis

Doug serves as Director of Architecture, bringing a calm, thoughtful approach to design leadership and technical execution. He focuses on creating architecture that is intentional, well crafted, and built to last, guiding projects with clarity from early concepts through construction. Outside of work, Doug enjoys woodworking, collecting rare books, and spending time outdoors, often camping and exploring nature when he can.

Justin Neilson

Justin is our in-house Architect and oversees production, detailing and code studies on the larger projects. Justin’s family history in construction makes solving problems of constructability and improving details come naturally. Apart from i5, Justin enjoys swimming with his kids, assisting his wife with her photography business and guiding hunts at his family’s hunting lodge.

Michael Campbell

Michael serves as Senior Project Manager. He is the member of the team that examines the details. He is well versed in what it takes to make a cool project buildable. Michael makes sure our spaces are designed to last for years to come and that we are adhering to building codes/standards. When Michael isn’t quality checking projects, he can be found in his camper at the lake, fishing, or hunting.

Hilary Wright

Hilary is our Special Projects Coordinator and Graphic Designer. Whether you are looking for some interesting ways to display your brand through the building or cool artwork to pull the whole design together, she has the skills. After hours, Hilary can be found spending time with her family, playing music, or enjoying the outdoors.

Luke Gilbert

Luke Gilbert serves as a Junior Project Designer, bringing fresh ideas, curiosity, and a strong growth mindset to the team. He is always learning and eager to develop his skills, contributing thoughtful support as projects take shape from concept to documentation. Outside of the office, Luke enjoys golfing, going to the gym, and spending quality time with his fiancée.

Sidney King

The first face you see when entering the office, Sidney is the player that keeps everyone and everyone on track. She handles the overall office management and documentation for each project. Outside of i5, Sidney enjoys time reading, catching an F1 race, or snuggling with her dog, Cleo.

D'Che Beyer

D’Che plays a key role in keeping i5 organized and running smoothly. She manages the firm’s financial operations, oversees billing and project finances, and supports overall office administration to help ensure everything stays on track. Outside of i5, D’Che runs a boutique furniture store and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, kids, and grandkids.
